Tommy Kennedy has developed a reputation as one of the finest professionals to ever play the game of pocket billiards. This was established early in his career, when Tommy was Player of the Year on the Florida Tour, 6 out of 8 years, from 1989 thru 1996. At one point, Tommy won 10 of 14 tournaments on the Florida Tour. He is widely known as the nicest, most cheerful, and most thoughtful player in the world. This was proven, when in 1996, he was voted by Pool & Billiard Magazine to have the best rapport with the audience, and in 1997, voted Sportsman of the year on the Camel Pro Billiard Series. Tommy is also one of the most fierce competitors to ever play the game. 

He has shown the world this, with his victory at the U.S. Open in 1992, where he became  the only player in history to have won a major televised tournament, going into it unseeded with no professional ranking. Tommy has proven over the last 15 years that he has the drive and character of a true champion.
